Saw "Chalo Dilli" yesterday at infamous Phoenix Mall PVR,the place where a 24 year old woman recently jumped off to her death from its 2 nd floor.Employees their seemed visibly shaken.
Movie is light,funny,simple and quite nice.Its about two travelers who get lost and waylaid coming from Mumbai to Delhi.Due to bad weather plane lands at Jaipur airport and then the story is about their travels from Jaipur to Delhi.Vinay Pathak is good as always and quite natural.Lara Dutta gives a controlled performance among all the mad mayhem around her and the completely outrageous situation they keep getting into.Yana Gupta's "laila o Laila" is ok.Akshay Kumar is in a special appearance here as Lara's husband.
Quite an enjoyable movie.Had quite an audience even in its second week and on a weekday too.
