Amar Ujala had this news on passing away of noted Urdu poet and lyricist Anwar Farrukhabadi.His song "Hamen To Luut Liyaa Milake Husn Vaalon Ne" became great hit and is still hummed.Its from Mahipal starer Al Hilal (1958).Quoting someone on YouTube "This is very special Kawwali,i recall that this is oldest captured in a Movie.. ( Can anybody tell name of movie and Singers ) It has long lasting impact on music lovers".Here are the lyrics in Hindi.At some places Lyrics credit is given to Shevan Rizvi.

Urdu poet Anwar Farrukhabadi dies

Farrukhabad, Jun 30 (PTI) Noted poet Anwar Farrukhabadi, who penned popular Hindi film song ''Humein to loot liya milke husn walon ne'', has died. He was 83.

The poet breathed his last at his native place in Nakkhas here yesterday.

Anwar wrote around two thousand songs in Bollywood and for private albums. His songs have been imortalised in the voices of Mohammad Rafi, Manna Dey, Pankaj Uddhas, Shankar Shambhu and Sabir brothers among others.
Born here in 1928, the poet left for Mumbai in 1945 in search of better future and spent about 40 years there.
Some of the films for which he wrote lyrics are ''Al Hilal'', ''Mere Piya'' and ''Pardsi Sajan''.

Sherlock Holmes was really interesting with a thrilling climax.Its about a man who in the guise of black-magic uses chemicals to scare people.Professor Moriarty too comes and goes.

Aadhar Cards - Creating Biometric Database

A camp is going on in our locality where biometric registration is taking place.I went their on Tuesday my retina was scanned,my finger-prints were taken and the web-camera took a picture.SBI is doing work here.Today I went with mom to get her registered.After some waiting here impressions etc. were taken.She seemed really sad soul.It rained all day like cats and dogs,when the rain got less we went to the camp.Now at 11:30 in the night I am finally hearing some Frogs croaking they seemed to have altogether disappeared and we were wondering why they are not singing this rainy season.

Socha Na Tha (2005)

In March 2005 when board exams were going on this film was released the debut movie of Abhay Deol.Saw it in Pratibha Hall.A modest no. of crowd was their.Really loved it then though the post interval portion was quite slow but climax was again well done.

I have seen so many movies since then,but don't think any of them touch its spontaneity and naturalness or its excellent dialogues.Its one of the best written movie ever.Also the way dubbing is done makes it all the more effective.When you see the movie you just remember your college days and think that's how folks behaved then.It really evoked nostalgia then and it has increased over the years.Its a modern day classic.

Its also the debut movie of Imtiaz Ali the famed director of "Jab We Met".Music which is the soul of a movie is fabulous especially "Abhi Abhi mere Dil mein Khayal aya hai" which is pictured really well and it is started by Abhay's friend in the movie he is good too.The movie ends with another lovely joyful song "O yaara rab ruth jaane de".Their's a cute proposing song that also seem very natural on the spot cocoction "Main Seedhe saade dhang se" where Abhay is proposing to his girl friend.

Abhay Deol in his first movie is very natural,his voice and acting is endearing and his mannerism is very fresh and unique.Ayesha Takia is wonderful not one false note in her performance it seemed she really enjoyed being a part of this movie.It was after a long time Ayesha Jhulka was seen in a movie as Abhay Deol's  "Bhabhi".She looks beautiful here and plays a pivotal role in the movie.Rati Agnihotri and Suresh Oberoi support well.

Costumes are designed by Simple Kapadia sister of Dimple Kapadia,Simple tragically died in 2009 she was just 51.Shirish Kunder husband to Farah Khan and director of "Jaaneman" has co-edited the movie with Imtiaz.

Saw it in Wave,the ticket was 200 Rs.Movie was captivating from the start.Great effects make this movie a visual delight.Director is famed Martin Campbell of Golden Eye.It statretd raining after the movie finishe.A new Reliance digital store has opened at West End Mall.Some fun contests were being held their.Strange was little kids dancing on "character Dheela" song from "Ready".

Today is my B'day

Birthdays are really strange you never know what to do with them.Its my 33 rd b'day ,I was born around 12 o' clock my mother tells me,it was Thursday as my computer tells me.

For last one year I had thought many times to visit Lohia Park but could not do so.Today it was delightful go their roam around under the shades of trees,walk on the lush green grass,see the family of Ducks their and see the fishes in the Pond.Their was a beautiful wind blowing rustling the leaves of trees.The setting sun was shining brightly on green leaves,the blue sky was partially cloudy.Their are many varieties of trees and flora in the park like Arjuna,Kanakchampa,Kachnar,Peepal etc. .Their is also a wishing tree of Vedic times a tree that fulfills whatever wish you wish under its boughs.Lots of Roses and other varieties of flower were blooming.It was quite a beautiful day.

Our LIC union leader who is on Facebook D K Bajpai and retired employee Ramesh Narayan whom I knew when I worked with M N Khan too wished me on Facebook.

I have never been wished Happy B'day by so many people ever.

How To Loose a Guy in 10 Days

I had this DVD for a long time,Today it started raining from 9 o' clock and continued in the afternoon till Two.So had to stay home.Took out this DVD to kill time not having any hopes from it or anything.But it turned out to be really tocucking,heartfelt and lovely reminded me of some classics from pre 60's Hollywood.Kate Hudson looks absolutely lovely,she had to fall in love with a guy and drive him away by all the wrong things girls do in a relationship.Matthew McConaugheyon on the other hand had taken a bet with his boss to make a girl truly love him in 10 days.The result is quite funny especially when Kate's friend masquerades as a Shrink (Psychiatrist) or when she brings along a peeing dog.Then he takes her to see his inlaws and his mother says to Kate he has never brought a girl home and asks her to take care of him never to break his heart.She really begins to love him.In the climax scene appears in ravishing gorgeous yellow gown.Nice ending too.

Cycle Kick (2011)

Its a refreshing film about two very ordinary guys from a coastal district very different from run of the mill adultery or comedy movies that are released every next Friday.Dwij Yadav from Nanhe Jaisalmer is also here along with two new actors and Tom Alter.Also a beautiful Gazal by Jagjeet Singh.Its all about a cycle and also a touch of Lagaan.

Strange Summer Days of June

So when returning after watching "Ready" my motorcycle's Petrol tank got empty.I together with Anjali and Shivanshu had to walk in humid heat to the nearest petrol pump which was 1 km away.Both kids were from village and accustomed to roaming around in sun.So they were able to walk the distance without fainting.

Anjali in the evening got upset over sitting on the bicycle.Kept aloof crying a bucket of tears.Really temperamental being with mood swings.Next day I persuaded her to come along with us to Smriti Park.She got better their swinging various "Jhoolas" on small playground which is inside the "upvan" which has great multitude of trees and flowers and a family of ducks with their off-springs.

We also went to "Bijli Pasi Qila" , Anjali got ecstatic on seeing Peacocks especially the one which was dancing with his feathers spread.Later she went to the dance spot to collect any fallen peacock feather but could find none.Later I went to my office and the two kids kept telephoning Shivanshu's mom for he had to go to his Nani's house,later they hood-winked my mom saying somebody has came to take them home at the square,and they left alone for Amausi Village ,thankfully they reached home safely.

A very stupid thing happened in the Novelty Cinema Hall I gave 500 rupee note in the darkness of the theater thinking it to be a 100 Rs note.Their by loosing 400 Rs.Abha Mausi kept pestering me for Suraj's books CBSE Board 9 th class,which was to be found nowhere.And Ajit Mausa telephoned me at night several times until I blocked his no. for the night.Obviously he was drunk.

West Is West (2010)

Its a simple funny movie set in rural Pakistan though it has been shot in India.Aqib Khan is really funny as the youngest kid and his friend too is great who goes around with a fakir sort of person.Om Puri too is good as always.Rustic locations are unique and no electricity in the village.Ila Arun. is the abandoned wife her character is done well.Vijay Raaz too has a good role.Its a nice movie to pass time.

The Resident (2011) & The cast of Always Kabhi Kabhi (2011)

Went to see Always Kabhi Kabhi (2011) could not get its ticket at PVR Phoenix Mall so bought ticket of The Resident.Incidentally The cast and some of the crew were their to promote the movie.They sat their and saw the movie with the audience.Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, Zoa Morani and Giselli Monteiro all four of them were their.They were nice,sweet and courteous to everybody.

The Resident was a good movie reminded me of climax of Lisa Ray's Kasoor.Hilary Swank is trapped by a maniac to live in his apartment building as his Paying Guest.He stalks her around and even walks around in her room peeping through holes goggling at her while bathing and other kinky sort of stuff.Hilary Swank on other hand is totally ignorant of this psycho and  thinks him to be a gentleman.

When Hilary Swank start seeing her ex-husband this guy gets jealous.He mixes sleeping fluids in her wine and caresses her when in deep sleep.When Hilary could not wake in time she gets her blood checked for toxins and soon finds out somebody has been drugging her.Also before this she gets suspicious and bring in a guy who installs video cameras in her flat to see if somebody comes in after she sleeps.She also warns her ex-husband not to go into her flat not knowing what dangers lurk their.

This Psycho guy assaults her ex on way home but still next day he goes to her apartment.When Hilary comes to know of this she runs for home.Their the psycho guy had already put a nail in her ex's forehead.He also comes to know that she knows of his hideous ways.He tries to kill her but she after a long series of struggle takes a nail gun and puts nails into his heart ( nailer is a type of tool used to drive nails into wood or some other kind of material. It is usually driven by electromagnetism).

A great on the edge thriller.Jeffrey Dean Morgan is good in psycho cum sex-hungry cum-kinky maniac role.Christopher Lee from Lord of the Rings too is their and is killed of by lethal injection by this self-conscious weakling-cum-maniac.

early days of June

Went to watch Pirates of Caribbean again this time in 3d slept through it.Not much of 3d excitement their.Only in one scene in climax their is one skeletal hand coming out of the screen.Got really sick with cold and fever have just recovered from it.Abha Mausi along with her family members,friends and in laws went to Mt. Abu to the Brahmakumari's Ashram.It was really peaceful and tranquil their.They also taught Yoga to the accompanying children.

Survey companies have closed down and their account freezed.Suraj and Himanshu came to stay,Suraj wanted to see ready stayed for two days.Suraj has became quite a brat making fun of everybody.His voice together with his way of speaking is enough to give you a headache.Himanshu who is just 14 years old is a strange kid his cousin Palak and Anjali tell me how he kissed neighbour's daughter,his cousin sisters quite aghast by his acts.While watching a movie here at home I observed him lost in some lusty thoughts very evident by his facial expressions.

Comparitively Anjali and Shivanshu's stay was very pleasant.Shivanshu is younger brother of Himanshu.He is the most pleasant boy you could ever meet.He is quite inelligent and quick in repartee.Anjali is happy when he is around even if she has been crying.She gets upset easily and well she is just a child.I watched Ready (2011) with them.While returning my motorcycle got out of Petrol.So we 3 had to walk for 1.5 Km in Sun to the nearest Petrol Pump.Went to nearby Smriti Park with them next morning,quite pleasant it was with nice cool breeze.We saw lots of Ducks in the corner of the park flocking near accumulated water making strange noises,some little yellowish chicks were also their.Shivanshu soon went to his nani's house.

Baba Ramdev was Fasting in Ram Lila Maidan Delhi when Foolhardy Congress Government attacked sleeping people in the night.Their could have been a stampede lots of people could have died.May be this is the last straw,Manmohan,Sonia And Rahul keeping silent.They were silent on CWG multi-crore corruption too did nothing to stop it.People have been watching governent has lost all its credibility.

News channels have rotten in last 4 or 5 years.Even NDTV is rotten showing highly prejudiced news.Most of te New correspondents ill-trained not have enough knowledge of issues they cover.Many times providing false information.

Don't think Baba Ramdev should be apologetic about his trusts wealth.Its good his Trusts are doing so well.Spreading Yoga throughout the world,providing good quality Ayurvedic medicines.Providing free health care,growing or cultivating medicinal plants.Yesterday he provided all his financial information on Net.To quote Oprah Winfrey "don't be apologetic about being wealthy its good to be doing well".He and his trusts have done a lot for people's welfare.

Ready (2011) Review

Its a fun film and it seems kids have taken a great liking to this movie.I showed this movie to my 4 visiting young cousins and all of them thought the film rocked.Most of the time they were laughing out loud.Two songs from the movie "character dheela" & "dhinka-chika" have become really popular.Their are very short cameos by Ajay Devgan,Kangna Ranaut anf Arbaaz Khan & Zarine Khan who comes in for "character Dheela song.Salman & Asin perform well and all supporting cast too give good performance.The only thing that appears lousy is the films cinematography,to be more specific its lighting whichso evident in the golf scene.Where the sun is behind and you have shadows in front everybody looking stange in shadows.Strange thing for otherwise tech-savvy movie.
