Its a very violent very sad film, preachy at times and a little dragging at some places,a remake of Chiranjeevi starer "Stalin" which in turn was inspired from "Pay it Forward" starring Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey.
The way Salman gets battered up may remind you of "Tere Naam".Emotional scenes are well enacted and make you cry. Also the message this film imparts is a good one and is an apt release on this Republic Day.Its like B.R.Chopra genre movie like "Naya Daur" which had "Saathi Haath Badhana" here we have "If I help you please help 3 others".
The actor to look forward in this movie that made the audience laugh most is child actor Naman Jain.He is just so wonderful and natural in every frame he is and steals every scene away from his fellow stars.Daisy Shah is great in this film and her intro scene where she dances with sea skyline in backdrop is scintillating.Though what was Sohail Khan thinking,I could definitely see trash lying around on steps Tabu and Naman were sitting.Though his direction is good but at places you feel not enough care was taken about set decoration.
Tabu is just as effortless as always. We have a great supporting cast of Danny,Suniel Shetty,Mohnish Bahal,Aditya Pancholi and Mahesh Manjrekar.Mukul Dev is miscast as a villain for he looks so friendly and reminds you of R..Rajkumar.Nadira Babbar does well too making us giggle at this funny mom's role of Salman. Its equally nice to see Vatsal Seth here.
"Baki sab First Class" from Jai Ho may remind you of a song from Vinod Khanna movie Mere Apne "Haal Chaal Thik Thaak Hai".
