The Woman in Black (2012) Review

Its not a bad movies as most people have panned it.I liked this movie and its wholehearted effort in atmosphere creation. The little coastal village and a narrow isthmus leading to a Haunted Mansion on a small island.Isthmus being submerged under sea-water during high-tide.Photography and camerawork is brilliant as it captures the journey between the two or when Daniel is inside the Mansion and thick fog surrounds. Its about the ghost of a Woman in Black clothes that lures children away and mind-controls them to kill themselves. There's this horrible scene where a little girl throws oil lantern at her feet and sets herself ablaze. In the climax this woman lures Radcliffe's son on to the railway tracks and when Daniel tries to save him they are run down by a passing train. It was much better and interesting than "Ek Deewana Tha" which I saw before it.
