This film is true to its name 'Tez' really fast paced thriller with enough human drama too to keep you tied to your seats and a before Intermission shocker.Its a completely different type of movie from Priyadarshan known mostly for his comedy movies.Dialogues could have been better and so could the script.Action and effects are really good and shock audience by their intensity.One song on Ajay Devgan "Tere bin dil nahin lagda' is sung and pictured beautifully.Director does give justice to each character providing enough background elements.
Anil Kapoor,Ajay Devgan and Zayed Khan deliver top notch performances here.Anil Kapoor seemingly taking cue from his '24' TV series co-star Kiefer Sutherland.Boman Irani too is good and so is Kangna who plays Ajay's wife.Mohanlal too is here.
Its about a hoax intended to gather dough from government.Ajay playing a hoax that the train has a bomb which will explode if train gets below a particular speed.Actually those are just dummy bombs.Sameera who goes to collect money thrown in a waterproof container in a river by Anil Kapoor who plays a cop here,gets killed after a long nail-biting on the edge chase sequence.Zayed who is in with Ajay gets hit by a bullet.Later when Ajay goes out their residence gets surrounded by cops he fights till last and later blows himself up in front of Anil Kapoor.Ajay who finally gets the money is pointed out by his own little son unknowingly,and dies tragically when incoming police interpret situation differently and shot him dead.Boman too has his daughter inside the train.Seems like a cross between Keanu Reeves "Speed" and B.R.Chopra's "The Burning Train".Its a super exciting movie for the weekend.
