Plant Description:
Fire Bush is a fast-growing woody tropical grown as a warm season annual in North Texas. The oval green leaves have reddish veins and a gray pubescence that covers the underside of the leaves. The large leaves are whorled around the stem. Clusters of reddish-orange flowers bloom throughout the summer. The long narrow tubular flowers sit atop the foliage on red stems. Hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers.
