Color version of the movie has been carefully restored by ultra and the colors are just wonderful infusing a refreshing feel into the movie.Sets and location,costumes and comic get-ups all come together to make this movie a great entertainer.
Also rare to this movie is Mehmood and Shammi Kapoor pairing as best friends.Shammi Kapoor always avoided acting with Mehmood whom he considered a great Actor and was of the view that he was a scene-stealer and would over-shadow him with his comic-genius.
Also in this movie is comic pairing of Mehmood and Shubha Khote who acted together in so many blockbuster movies as comic romantic pair bringing joy and laughter to their audience which made them a big box-office draw and a super-hit pair.
Om Prakash and Mehmood shared a great comic repartee which is so visible here.Mehmood has a double role here.Pran who passed away few days ago too is here playing screen villain to the hilt.Manmohan Krishna is the blind father of Mala Sinha.Mohan Choti plays the young next door neighbor of Mala Sinha .
Shankar-Jaikishan provide youthful romantic music here,its title track is still very popular.
